We know quite well that after the so called "emergency budget" any chance of a sustained recovery was flushed away. You do not need to be a economist to realise that without jobs, investments and production, you cannot be optimistic. Cuts and cuts alone results in recession. I am afraid to say but the worst is still to come when 600000 jobs culling starts in the public sector. While the crisis deepens, the government begins to inflict a cynical revulsion on those receiving benefits. It is exactly when the most vulnerable families need it most is when this irresponsible government decides to implode it. No, for those in low income, those without jobs, the forecast cannot be better.
